Longwood Gardens 2011

Our second visit to Longwood Gardens was on a beautiful day no humidity and a nice breeze. I think next time we are going to need to try and get there during the fall, try to see something different.

Zach got very good at the long arm self portraits, I am slowly turning him into a photographer. Mostly I would like to be in the photos occationally.

Maryland Science Museum in Baltimore

For Zach's 30th birthday I surprised him with a weekend trip to inner harbor. We stayed at a hotel a block from the water (which I got a fantastic deal on). We walked everywhere dispite the freezing temperatures, we bundled up and enjoyed the harbor without the thousands of people that are normally there.

The first night we thought we would stop by Cheesecake Factory since I'd never eaten there. We really didn't think we would get a table and were hungry and didn't want to wait hours but there was no wait we got a table right away. It was a fabulous first experience we could see the city and the water and had a fabulous waiter, I can't remember his name, who made sure we got the best on the menu. New favorite Banana Cream Cheesecake, yummmy.
Saturday we headed to the science museum. It took Zach more that a few minutes to realize that there was a whole special exhibit on pirates and buried treasure. But once he did we had a great time going through all the science/space things. We didn't even get sick in the Imax.

Sadly/appropriately this was the only photo of the two of us together.

Making a spark in the kidzone. It's a hurricane tube, you can't tell because his hair is short, mine, it took a good 10 min. to get it back into a presentable state.

We have the power. Little kids where standing around really looking like they wanted to touch it and the parents were all unsure. So Zach and I stepped up and touched it and what do you know it disappeared for a second and then came back. If the museum didn't want you to touch it they would have but glass around it.

Delaware Water Gap, Pa

Zach and I took a mini vacation after my return from Oregon and Californina up to the Delaware Water Gap only a couple hours from both of us. We had a great time seeing waterfalls, old houses, cute towns, and lots of stairs.
Dingman's Falls, near where my first house use to be.

We tried so many times to get the waterfall in the shot this is the best one you can see a little water up there in the corner.

We were a little worried that by the time we finally got up to the area the trees where past their peak but we found lots of color and by the end of the first day I began to start wishing I had brought my good camera rather than the point and shoot.

There were some pretty amazing colors up there, East Coast falls are great.

Bushkill Falls, they were pretty impressive and worth the 10 dollars I didn't want to spend.

Half way through the first of two or three sets of these I was greatful that I had brought my point and shoot not the big nikon.

Yachats Oregon

The great hotel that Zach and I stayed at before I flew out to Oregon, very friendly great service, we are so staying again

Me, Adrienne, and Dad doing the tourist thing at the cool bridge going in to Newport.
Hundreds? Thousands? of sea lions just south of Yachat.

Uncle John and Dad stealing Nana's frosting, you gotta love traditions.
West Coast Sunset so much better than east coast.

Bundled up for the beach.

Very cool/large sea lion came up as we were walking by, making sure we kept our distance.

The Scott Children

I had the opportunity this past fall to photograph some families for their Christmas cards, it was a good experience, thank you to everyone who performed to duty of assisting with the kids. With the Scott kids we went to a old reststop between Lewisburg and Selinsgrove, the colors were very festive.
